Just outside of Boone, NC you will find the Original Mast General Store. It is like walking into another time and is fun to just look at the things on the shelves and walls. They sell a little bit of everything.

Next door is an old barn with old farming equipment you might want to photograph. And while the gas pump in front of the store makes a good picture, be aware that it is a working pump, so don't get run over while taking your photograph.
