In the late 80's and early 90's there were only four skyscrapers in Charlotte. These photographs cover the time when Charlotte was busy taking down the existing buildings and building new. They include the grand opening of what today is the Bank of America Building. There are also photographs of what was the Wachovia before that building had its facade completed or the structrual steel all in place.
