This is the 18 annual Carolina Renaissance Festival and Artisan Marketplace. It is one of the largest such festivals in the country. While it has overr 500 costumed characters, many of the people come dressed to play a part in the activities. All of this photographs were taken using the Panasonic GF1 and 20mm lens.
